BMMI continues offering services to the French Army
12th February 2014The French army, one of BMMI’s key clients in Djibouti, has recently conducted a three day military exercise in the Grand Bara desert located outside Djibouti City, where temperatures reaches 55 C° in the summer season. BMMI was able to provide soldiers with food supply and trucking logistics with temperature controlled storage.
A few members of the GSS team, along with BMMI Djibouti Country Manager, David Hansé, and other authorities were invited to attend an air/ground show, which they described as spectacular.
Additionally, BMMI has been given an extension of three years for the provision of dry and frozen food to the French army in Djibouti.

Earlier this month, a ceremony took place on the French Air Base 188 in Djibouti, to celebrate the 70 years’ anniversary of Fighter Jet Squadron 3/11 “Corsica”.
The chief of staff of the French Air Force was invited to the event, together with numerous important personalities of the French Air Force.
BMMI took part in the event by providing food supply, such as the delicious cheese produced from the Island of Corsica in France, as well as providing logistics and using reefer trucks to assist with outside catering.
The event turned out to be a great success and an interesting experience. “We got to see the planes which were especially decorated by the mechanics with many strong symbols, coming from the rich history of this prestigious unit,” added David Hansé, BMMI Djibouti’s Country Manager.
BMMI’s efforts were once again recognised by one of their major clients, who personally thanked the team for their excellent support to make this a memorable event.
